Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have any questions, I want to get started.
What do we do?
First off, read our Terms & Conditions
page to learn about our business policies.
Next, contact us to schedule a free, no
obligation consultation. If you're in South Texas (San Antonio - Austin) we'll
come to you. We'll learn about your business, what your goals are and tell you
a little about us. We'll write up a Project Plan, outlining the project requirements
with cost & time estimates. Once we receive your signed acceptance of the
Project Plan (along with any required deposit), work begins on your project.
Why should I hire you when I can get my IT staff or the guy next door to
build a site for me?
Our livelihood depends on the success of your project. Because of this, you'll
find our attention to the details & the quality of our work is better than
you'll find with your internal IT staff. Furthermore, we can provide an
outside view of your company, similar to a customer experience, without being
involved in office politics or other internal distractions. In almost all
instances, outsourcing your project is cheaper than paying the salary and
benefits of a full-time employee.
As for the guy next door - does he have the knowledge, training and experience
necessary to complete your project in a professional manner? Is he up to date
on the latest technologies and business trends? Can he provide 24 x 7 support? Does
he have a vested interest in seeing that your company succeeds online?
Unless you can answer yes to all of these questions, outsourcing to a website
development firm is the way to go.
How much is this really going to cost?
We're not the cheapest and we're not the fastest - however, we are
one of the best. We can make that claim because we take the time to fully
understand your business needs and build an appropriate solution to meet those
needs. The prices listed on our rate page are meant as a guideline to give
you a general understanding of what things will cost.
Once we meet and create a Project Plan, we will provide a written, fixed price for
the project. It's important to us that everyone has a clear understanding of the
work to be done and the costs involved before we begin the project.
I've seen companies online where I can build the site myself in a matter of
minutes for less than $100.
I'm sure you've heard the saying, "You get what you pay for." It's absolutely true.
Would you attempt to to the graphic design for your company logo? How about put
together a small catalog of products? With the "build-it-yourself" sites,
you are responsible for the graphic layout, coding, form design,
etc. etc. for your site. Successful businesspeople realize that they don't
have to be an expert at everything if they are surrounded by a good team
of people. Outsourcing your website project allows you to focus on your own
strengths and business goals.
I'm looking at several firms to work on my project. Why should I use your services
instead of the others?
Each firm brings various strengths to the table. They each have different
skills, experiences and styles. All may be excellent companies that do a
fine job for you, however, you should select the firm that best fits
your style and needs.
We want your project to succeed - even if we're not the firm that does the work.
If you do select us, that's great - it's money for us, money for
you and we all win. If it's not us, you and the website development
industry still benefit which benefits us indirectly. However, if you do
select us and we're not a good fit for your company, then we both lose in the
long run.
